Bitter Sweet Beginning

Our Story

The business began by one simple yet bitter sweet word "Burglary". Our home was burglarized not once but twice after preventative measures where made. The burglar's accomplice was the window air conditioner and the window latches. The air conditioner doesn't allow for the latches of a window to be locked. The latches being disconnected leaves the window unlock and open position inviting burglars in! Hence the creation for the WinLock began.

Into our journey with WinLock for window security, came the WinLock for patio door security. We learn that alot of our customers where experiencing burglary through patio doors when being left slightly open for a breeze or allowing there pets to exit/entry to the yard. Also Patio doors needed added security beyond the little factory lock provided especially when opened.

My name is Jayden Smith (left), and this is my brother Makel Smith (right). Together, we proudly represent our family-owned company, WinLock—short for Window Lock.

WinLock was created from personal experience.
